Kristin Baker is a painter known for her dynamic applications of paint on PVC panels using palette knives and tape. Juxtaposing subtle layers with distinct free-floating shapes, Baker's seemingly collaged and sculptural works explore themes of auto racing, collision, suspension, speed, and the limitations of the medium itself. Baker is a graduate of Yale University (Connecticut) and School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts (Boston) and lives and works in New York City.
Part of Maharam Digital Projects for Skyline Design.
